7. Eat whole, unprocessed foods 90% of the time. Whole foods come as close as possible to their natural state: not having added sugars, fats, sauces,… Buy raw foods and cook them yourself.

8. Beans and other legumes are rich in protein and fiber but low in calories. So instead of packing in the meat, try eating beans and legumes instead. This will replace a lot of saturated fat with fiber.
